May Day in Crofton, Maryland – 2015

The first day of May, known as May Day, is an ancient Northern Hemisphere spring festival and usually a public holiday. Dancing, singing, feasting, and gift giving are often a part of the celebrations.

Crofton Village Garden Club members celebrate May Day by making and displaying May Baskets at their homes. We hope our community enjoyed seeing them, but don’t worry if you missed them… we have some photos!
