Adkins Arboretum Field Trip – May 6, 2015

Crofton Village Garden Club members will tour the grounds of the Adkins Arboretum located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore at 12610 Eveland Road (near Ridgely, Maryland) next week, May 6.

The staff will provide an orientation providing maps of the grounds, brochures about what to see during the walks, as well as information about what is in bloom. The Adkins Arboretum hosts an ongoing art exhibition series of art work on natural themes by regional artists located in the Visitor’s Center.

Members are invited to explore the Gift Shop and Bookstore filled with gardening and nature inspired gifts for all ages. Be sure to include a visit to the Native Plant Nursery which boast the largest selection of ornamental native plants for the Chesapeake Bay gardener.
