Crofton’s Flowering Trees – Do You Know Their Names?

Old Crofton has a reputation for its stunning display of blooming cherry blossoms along Crofton Parkway each Spring, but they’re not the only flowering trees to beautify our neighborhood.

Cherry Blossoms line much of Crofton Parkway, thanks to the efforts of early residents in our community.

The white blossoms you see along other sections of Crofton Parkway and in many areas of Crofton are Bradford Pear Trees.

Dogwood trees can be found scattered throughout the community in either pink or white.

You’ll  see the brilliant color of magnificent Magnolia trees in the yards of some homes in Crofton.

You’ll also find these same trees throughout the newer areas of Crofton, beyond “the triangle”.   Now, with the help of these photos, you’ll probably be able to recognize them when you see them.
